– Kerak Telor
Kerak
telor is a legacy of the past. According to history of kerak telor already

2. Palembang
– Pempek
origin
'pempek' is a culinary acculturation traders brought from China to Palembang in

3. Yogyakarta
– Gudeg
Gudeg
has been known by the people of Indonesia, especially as the typical food of
Yogyakarta . Popularity also makes Yogyakarta known as the City of gudeg . Warm
is a traditional food made from young jackfruit (
jack fruit ) boiled for several hours with palm sugar and coconut milk .
Equipped with a variety of additional ingredients to make gudeg be sweet on the
tongue and has a distinctive flavor and delicious taste according to the Java
community at large .
Until
now , it is not clear about the history gudeg . Some of the views attributed
gudeg as food from Kraton , while others have long argued that gudeg there
since the first invasion to Batavia in 1726-1728 by Sultan Agung's forces in
recorded history , although not yet to be verified . However, the conclusions

– Rujak Cingur
Rujak
Cingur is one of the traditional foods that are easily found in the area of East
Java, especially Surabaya region of origin. In Javanese word "cingur"
means "mouth", this refers to the material's mouth or snout sliced beef
boiled and mixed into the dish. Rujak cingur usually consists of some kind of
sliced fruits such as cucumbers, krai (a type of
cucumber typical East Java), yam, young mango, pineapple, kedondong and plus
rice cake, tofu, soybean, and cingur bendoyo and vegetables such as sprouts /
bean sprouts, kale and beans. All the material was mixed with sauces or
condiments made of processed shrimp paste,
boiled water to slightly dilute, sugar / brown sugar, chili, fried peanuts,
fried onions, salt and thinly sliced bananas
young green beans (banana/pisang klutuk). All the sauces / condiments mixed with
diuleg way, that's why the 'rujak cingur' is also often called salad pestle
(rujak uleg).

5. Medan –
Bika Ambon
Bika
Ambon is a kind of confectionary from Indonesia . Made from ingredients such as
eggs , sugar , and coconut milk , bika ambon generally sold with pandan flavor
, although it is now also available other flavors such as durian , cheese , and
chocolate .
The
origin bika Ambon is not clearly known . Despite its name contains the word
" Ambon " , bika ambon precisely known as sou
venirs
typical of Medan , North Sumatra . In Medan , Jalan Medan Petisah Mojopahit in
the sales area bika Ambon is the most famous . There are at least 40 shops
selling this cake .
That
said , the food is expected presence of two versions . The first is the first
merchant who traded Ambon to Malaysia , but Bika Ambon is not sold and
eventually moved to the city of Medan . Apparently, this snack , gets
